A Cop for a Day

Jalisha Pegues, a 14-year-old with Renal Disease had one wish. She wanted to become a police officer. One morning, Pegues woke up to what she thought was going to be an ordinary day. For part of her mission, she got to train at the police academy for the day, participated in defense tactics and met the K9 unit. After her morning at the academy, she traveled to Ballpark Village where she participated in a police search for city mascots. Pegues was overwhelmed with surprise and used much gratitude towards the organization for making her wish come true.
